Motorola brought us the Razr; an impossibly slim and sleek model with a slide mechanism. Now they have designed the Aura. Claiming to be the world’s first phone with a circular display and a 62 carat sapphire crystal lens, this is a new step indeed. The 360 degree swivel mechanism does, they claim, provide the perfect stage for a 16 million colour LCD display.

This phone definitely has all the work behind it. Constructed of the toughest materials in the world: sapphire crystal, tungsten and stainless steel with a Swiss-made main bearing for the swivel mechanism this watch certainly tries to live up to its hefty price tag. Retailing at £1,200 it is unlikely that you will see too many of these phones on the High Street but if you do think that you can stretch the purse strings far enough and you like the idea of being one of the first to flash this phone then visit the Motorola website or a dealership. It goes without saying of course that this phone has every gadget, gizmo and functionality that you could possibly dream of.
